Bella Breen had a fever dream in 2020 about a singing changling named Maiden. Upon waking, they realized the fair maid did not exist yet, and Bella would have to create her in order to hear her righteous tunes again. Just then, a magical room opened in their friend’s apartment in Brooklyn. So they traversed desert and plain to the mythical city, in search of kin, music, and Maiden. One fateful eve in a tiki bar in the lower east side, they were approached by the frightful knights Trevor (guitar) and Harlan (bass) who requested a royal jam. Soon after, they brought on the infallible automaton, Rex (drums) and Maiden was born. Now they travel the boroughs bringing their lyrical storytelling with funk and rock influences. Their punchy three part harmonies, emotional hooks, and electric alchemy make them a dazzling addition to every bill. They are currently working on their first EP, set to release in Spring 2026.
